Article 66 of Environmental Protection Law

The Authority shall work to establish a national network for monitoring and surveillance of the marine environment, operating to cover all territorial waters of the State of Kuwait and including monitoring of all indicators of the environmental condition of the marine environment. The Authority shall also attend to providing all requirements for the network's success, including infrastructure such as laboratories, training national personnel and other requirements, within five years of the issuance of this Law. All relevant State institutions shall cooperate with the Authority to implement this plan.
