Article 90 of Environmental Protection Law

The competent entities shall monitor and supervise the quality of drinking water of all types produced locally in desalination plants or from groundwater, bottling plants and otherwise, as well as all types of water imported from outside the territory of the State, including bottled drinking water, mineral water and the like. The Executive Regulations of this Law shall specify the responsibilities of the competent entities, the mechanisms for supervision, monitoring and auditing, and the conditions for producing, transporting, storing, testing, circulating and marketing water in the State.
