Article 87 of Environmental Protection Law

The Supreme Council shall authorize the minister concerned to assign the employees necessary to monitor the implementation of the provisions of this Chapter and its implementing regulations and decisions and to establish violations of its provisions. These employees shall have judicial enforcement capacity and, for that purpose, shall have the right to enter establishments, means, equipment, and vessels located within prohibited maritime areas and those located on land that have contributed or may contribute to pollution. They shall have the right to inspect, gather evidence, detect cases violating the provisions of this Chapter, draw up the necessary reports and refer them to the Public Prosecution, and seek the assistance of police officers. The employees charged with implementing the provisions of this Law and its implementing regulations and decisions, referred to in this Article of this Law, shall also take an oath before the minister concerned or whomever he authorizes from the entity to which they belong, in the following terms: )) I swear by Almighty God to perform my work faithfully, sincerely, with integrity and honor, and not to divulge any work secret of which I become aware by virtue of my position, even after leaving the work ((.
