English translation
The court referred to in Article Eight shall convene at the seat of the Court of Appeal. Its president shall set the date for commencement of the trial, provided that this is within thirty days at most from the date the papers reach him. The Public Prosecutor, or such members of the Public Prosecution as he considers appropriate to enlist, shall undertake the prosecution before the court. The Registry Department of the Court of Appeal shall perform the functions of the registry department of this court. If the court decides to hear the case in a closed session, this shall not apply to the accused and his lawyer. If the accused has not retained a lawyer, the court shall appoint a lawyer to defend him.

تنعقد المحكمة المشار إليها في المادة الثامنة، بمقر محكمة الاستئناف، ويحدد رئيسها
موعد بدء المحاكمة على أن يكون ذلك خلال ثلاثين يوما على الأكثر، من تاريخ
وصول الأوراق إليه.
ويباشر النائب العام أو من يرى الاستعانة به من أعضاء النيابة العامة، مهمة
الادعاء أمام المحكمة.
وتتولى إدارة كتاب محكمة الاستئناف القيام بأعمال إدارة كتاب هذه المحكمة.
وإذا قررت المحكمة نظر الدعوى في جلسة سرية ، فلا يسري ذلك على المتهم
ومحاميه، وإذا لم يوكل المتهم محاميًا ، ندبت المحكمــة لــه محـام للدفاع عنه .Ask about this article
