English translation
Judgments issued in personal status matters by the appellate circuits of the Family Court shall not be subject to appeal by cassation. As an exception, the Public Prosecutor may appeal those judgments by cassation if they infringe the provisions of Islamic Sharia relating to public order specified in Article (338) of the Personal Status Law. Litigants may appeal by cassation judgments issued concerning wills and inheritances. Judgments ordering separation of spouses or declaring a missing person dead may not be enforced until the avenue of appeal by cassation has been exhausted or the time limit for appeal has expired without an appeal being filed. The Court of Cassation shall expeditiously determine appeals brought before it against those judgments.
