Article 12 of Family Court Law

The General Assembly of the Court of First Instance shall assign, at the premises of the Family Court, one or more judges of urgent matters to rule provisionally and without prejudice to the substantive right on the following matters: a - Urgent matters concerning personal status within the jurisdiction of the Family Court in which delay is feared to cause prejudice. b - Provisional enforcement disputes and objections concerning judgments and orders issued by the Family Court and its appellate circuits. c - Substantive enforcement disputes relating to judgments and orders issued by the Family Court. Appeals against judgments rendered by that circuit shall, in cases permitted by law, be brought before a civil appellate circuit designated by the General Assembly of the Court of Appeal, which shall hold its sessions at the premises of the Family Court. Judgments rendered by this appellate circuit may be challenged in accordance with the general rules for challenging judgments set out in the Civil and Commercial Procedure Law. )2(
