Article 14 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning Kuwaiti Nationality

By decree—upon the submission of the Head of the Police and Public Security Departments—Kuwaiti nationality may be revoked from anyone possessing it in the following cases: 1- If he enters the military service of a foreign State and remains therein despite an order issued to him by the Government of Kuwait to leave it. 2- If he works in the interest of a foreign State that is at war with Kuwait or with which political relations have been severed. 3- If his ordinary residence is abroad and he joins a body whose purposes include working to undermine Kuwait's social or economic system, or if a judgment is issued convicting him of offences that the judgment states affect his allegiance to his country. Revocation of nationality in the aforementioned cases shall result in the loss of Kuwaiti nationality by its holder alone.
