English translation
Every person born in Kuwait to unknown parents shall acquire Kuwaiti nationality, and a foundling shall be considered born therein unless the contrary is proved. Kuwaiti nationality may be granted by decree, upon the submission of the Minister of Interior, to a person born in Kuwait or abroad to a Kuwaiti mother whose father is unknown or whose filiation to his father has not been legally established. By a decision of the Minister of Interior, minors in this situation may be treated as Kuwaitis until they reach the age of majority.

يكتســب الجنســية الكويبتيــة كل مــن ولــد في الكويت لابوين مجهــولين، ويعــتبر اللقيط
مولــودا فيهــا مــا لم يثبــب العكس.
ويجــوز بمرســوم بنــاء على عــرض وزيــر الداخليــة منــح الجنســية الكويتيــة لمــن ولــد
ف الكويــت أو فى الخارج مــن أم كويتيــة وكان مجهــول الاب او لم تثبــت نســبته الى ابيــه
قانونــا، ويجــوز بقــرار مــن وزيــر الداخليــة معاملــة الــقصر في هــذه الحالــة معاملــة
