English translation
Without prejudice to Law No. 44 of 1994 AD, anyone who has acquired Kuwaiti nationality pursuant to the provisions of Articles 4 — 5 — 7 — 8 of this Law shall not have the right to vote for any representative body before twenty Gregorian years have elapsed from the date of acquiring that nationality. Those mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall not have the right to stand for election or be appointed to any representative body. )2(

مــع عــدم الإخلال بالقانــون رقــم 44 لســنة 1994م ، لا يكــون لمــن كســب الجنســية
الكويتيــة وفقــا لأحــكام المــواد 4 ـــ 5 ـــ 7 ـــ 8 مــن هــذا القانون حــق الانتخــاب لأي
هيئــة نيابيــة قبــل انقضــاء عشريــن ســنة ميلاديــة مــن تاريــخ كســبه لهــذه الجنســية.
