Article 7 مكرر of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning Kuwaiti Nationality

Kuwaiti nationality may be granted by decree, upon the submission of the Minister of the Interior, to the children of a naturalized person who were adults at the time their father acquired Kuwaiti nationality, and likewise to the adult grandchildren of a naturalized person through his male children, if they fulfil the conditions stipulated in items )2, 3, 5( of Article Four of this Law and have maintained their ordinary residence in Kuwait for a period of not less than fifteen years before the date of issuance of the decree granting them nationality. Kuwaiti nationality may also be granted to the minor grandchildren of a naturalized person through his male children, whose father died before the father was granted this Kuwaiti nationality, provided that applications for persons lacking full legal capacity are submitted by their legal representatives. The provisions of Articles )6, 11 bis, 13( of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 AD concerning the Nationality Law shall apply to anyone granted nationality pursuant to the provisions of this Article.
