English translation
By a decision of the Minister of Interior, a minor born to a mother who is Kuwaiti by origin and who maintains residence therein may be treated as a Kuwaiti until reaching the age of majority if his foreign father is a prisoner of war, has irrevocably divorced his mother, or has died leaving her widowed.

يجــوز بقــرار مــن وزيــر الداخليــة معاملة القــاصر المولــود مــن أم كويتية بصفــة أصلية،
المحافــظ على الإقامــة فيهــا إذا كان أبــوه الأجنبــي أسيرا أو طلــق أمــه طلاقــا بائنــا أو
