Article 18 of Decree-Law No. 10 of 2020 concerning Notarisation

A person whose instrument has been refused notarization, or whose request for authentication or certification of the date of private documents has been refused, may lodge a grievance with the judge of interim matters at the Court of First Instance within fifteen days of being notified of the refusal, and may appeal the decision issued against that person by the judge in accordance with the rules stipulated in Article (164) of the aforementioned Decree-Law No. (38) of 1980.
