Article 3 of Decree-Law No. 11 of 2026 concerning Protection from Domestic Violence

The Committee shall be responsible for the following: 1 - Formulating the general policy for protecting the family, strengthening its bonds and addressing everything related to domestic violence, approving its implementation plans and monitoring their implementation. 2 - Reviewing relevant national legislation and submitting the necessary proposals and recommendations concerning it. 3- Coordinating between all official institutions and civil society institutions concerned with domestic violence. 4 - Approving training programmes and curricula for all personnel and persons concerned with implementing this Decree-Law. e - Preparing awareness and educational programmes concerning domestic violence, particularly those relating to detecting domestic violence offences, protecting victims and informing them of their rights. 6 - Issuing an annual report on domestic violence, the complaints received by the departments and entities concerned with domestic violence, and the action taken regarding them.
