English translation
Without prejudice to any more severe penalty provided for by another law, imprisonment for a term of no less than three years and no more than ten years and a fine of no less than five thousand dinars and no more than ten thousand dinars, or either of these two penalties, shall be imposed on anyone who intentionally broadcasts news, publishes information or promotes false rumors relating to military entities, where this would undermine confidence in those entities, diminish their prestige, cast doubt on their existence or weaken their morale, without ascertaining their veracity or source.

مع عدم الإخلال بأية عقوبة أشد ينص عليها قانون آخر يعاقب بالحبس مدة
لا تقل عن ثلاث سنوات ولا تزيد على عشر سنوات وبالغرامة التي لا تقل عن
خمسة آلاف دينار ولا تزيد على عشرة آلاف دينار أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين كل من
أذاع عمدا خبرا أو نشر بيانات أو روج إشاعات كاذبة تتعلق بالجهات العسكرية
وكان من شأن ذلك إضعاف الثقة بهذه الجهات أو الانتقاص من هيبتها أو
التشكيك في وجودها أو الإضعاف من روحها المعنوية دون التأكد من صحتها
