Article 21 of Decree of 1979 concerning the Civil Service Regulations

By a decision of the Minister, upon a proposal of the Personnel Affairs Committee, an employee may be granted an incentive increment at the rate of his periodic increment, without thereby exceeding the maximum salary of his grade, subject to the following conditions: 1- The employee must have obtained a report with a rating of at least very good, and a year must not have elapsed since that report. 2- The employee must not be granted this increment more than once in the same grade. 3- The employee must not have been promoted by selection to his current grade. The grant of this increment shall not change the date on which the employee becomes entitled to his periodic increment.
