Article 72 of Decree of 1979 concerning the Civil Service Regulations

Medical unfitness for service shall be established by a decision of the competent medical body at the request of the employee or the government entity to which he belongs. The employee's service shall terminate on the date of that decision or upon exhaustion of the sick leave under Article (52) of these Regulations, whichever is earlier.
