Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 863

State of Kuwait · Penal Law · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The expert's inability to conduct a comparison in a forgery offence does not prevent the court from investigating its occurrence through all evidence. The reason: forgery proceedings have no particular method of proof for forming the judge's conviction; he may take any evidence or presumption with which he is satisfied as proof supporting his judgment. The condition therefor.
