Maintenance during the waiting period. Considered a debt owed by the husband from the time it becomes obligatory. It is extinguished only by payment or release. Article 163, Law 51/1984. - Breastfeeding remuneration is considered part of the child's maintenance and becomes a debt. It is extinguished only by payment or release. - The mother is not entitled to breastfeeding remuneration during the marriage or during the waiting period following a revocable or irrevocable divorce. The reason therefor: the husband is charged with maintaining her in those circumstances. The mother's breastfeeding after termination of the marriage and expiry of the waiting period or the waiting period following death. Her entitlement to that remuneration.
