The obligation to register real-property ownership actions concerning a real right in immovable property. Importance thereof: preserving the claimant’s right upon judgment in his favour therein and annotation of that judgment in the margin of the registration of the statement of claim. Its effect. The judgment relates back to the day of registration of the statement of claim and is deemed authoritative, from the date that registration occurred, against persons who acquired real rights over the property from the same transferor.
