English translation of the principle

An insurance contract. A consensual contract. The insured’s intention is the insurance application he submits to the insurer as an offer. The insurer’s intention is represented by its issuance of the insurance policy signed by it as acceptance of that offer. The insured’s signature on the policy is unnecessary, since his signature on the application constitutes a definitive offer. Article 779, Civil Code. - An insurance policy. Its particulars and conditions are presumed to correspond to what was initially agreed between the parties. The insured’s receipt of the policy containing certain conditions that do not correspond to what was agreed. His silence in not requesting correction for 30 days from receipt. Acceptance of those conditions. Article 780, Civil Code.
