Article 189 of Civil Code

1 - Annulment of the contract may not be invoked against the particular successor of the other contracting party if that successor acquired his right for consideration and in good faith. 2 - The particular successor shall be considered in good faith if, at the time of the disposition in his favor, he did not know the ground for annulment of his predecessor's contract and could not have known of it had he exercised the care that the circumstances require of an ordinary person.
