Article 363 of Civil Code

If there are multiple creditors in an indivisible obligation, or multiple heirs of the creditor in that obligation, Law Index 990 Home Page Civil Code Decree-Law No. 67 of 1980 AD promulgating the Civil Code each creditor or heir may demand full performance of the obligation. If one of the creditors or heirs objects thereto, the debtor shall be obliged to perform the obligation to the creditors jointly or to deposit the thing constituting the subject of the obligation in the treasury of the Enforcement Department.
