Article 675 of Civil Code

1 - Once the work has been taken over, the contractor's liability for any apparent defect in it or nonconformity with the terms of the contract shall cease, subject to the provision of Article 692. 2 - If the defects or nonconformity are latent and the employer subsequently discovers them after taking delivery, he must promptly notify the contractor of them, with due regard to the custom of the trade; otherwise, he shall be deemed to have accepted the work. If the contractor is notified in due time, the provisions of Article 673 shall apply.
