Article 686 of Civil Code

1- The contract for work shall terminate upon the contractor's death if his personal qualifications or capabilities were taken into consideration in contracting. 2- If the contractor's personal qualifications or capabilities were not taken into consideration, the contract shall not terminate automatically, but the employer may terminate it if the contractor's heirs do not possess guarantees Home Page and Law Index 1032 Civil Code Decree-Law No. 67 of 1980 AD Promulgating the Civil Code sufficient for proper performance of the work.
