English translation
1 - If the engineer's work is confined to preparing the design of the building or structure, or part thereof, he shall be liable for defects attributable to the design he prepared, but not defects attributable to the method of execution. 2 - If the employer entrusts him with supervising execution or part thereof, he shall also be liable for defects attributable to the method of execution whose supervision was entrusted to him.

١ - إذا اقتصر عمل المهندس على وضع تصميم البناء أو الإنشاء أو جانب منه, كان
مسئولا عن العيوب التي ترجع إلى التصميم الذي وضعه دون العيوب التي ترجع
إلى طريقة التنفيذ.
٢ - فإذا عهد إليه رب العمل بالإشراف على التنفيذ أو على جانب منه, كان مسئولا
