Article 827 of Civil Code

Co-owners owning at least three-quarters of the undivided property may decide to dispose of it if they rely on compelling reasons and partition would prejudice the co-owners' interests. They shall notify the remaining co-owners of their decision in writing. Any of the latter who dissents may submit his objection to the court within sixty days from notification, and the court may, according to the circumstances, authorize or refuse the disposition.
