Article 886 of Civil Code

1 - If the person who erected buildings, planted vegetation or established installations on another’s land did so with materials owned by a third person, the owner of the materials may have recourse for compensation against the person who took them. He may also have recourse against the landowner for an amount not exceeding the value of what was established on his land that remains owed by him. 2 - If the person who erected the buildings, planted the vegetation or established the installations acted in good faith, the owner of the materials may request their removal if that does not damage the land.
