Article 952 of Civil Code

1 - The usufruct shall terminate upon expiry of the specified term. If no term is specified, it shall be deemed established for the lifetime of the usufructuary, and shall in any event terminate upon the usufructuary's death. 1068 Home Page Law Index Civil Code Decree-Law No. 67 of 1980 AD Promulgating the Civil Code - If the land subject to the usufruct bears standing crops upon expiry of the term or the usufructuary's death, the land shall be left to the usufructuary or his heirs until the crops mature, provided that they pay rent for the land for that period of time.
