If the thing perishes, is damaged, or requires major repairs or measures to protect it from an unforeseen danger, the usufructuary must promptly notify the owner. He must also notify him if a third party claims entitlement to the thing itself.

إذا هلك الشيء أو تلف أو احتاج إلى إصلاحات جسيمة، أو إلى اتخاذ إجراء يقيه
من خطر لم يكن منظورا، فعلى المنتفع أن يبادر بإخطار المالك، وعليه إخطاره أيضا
