English translation
Presumptions prescribed by law shall dispense the person in whose favor they are established from any other means of proof. However, these presumptions may be rebutted by contrary evidence unless a provision stipulates otherwise. The judge may infer other presumptions for proof in cases where proof by witness testimony is permissible.

القرائن التي ينص عليها القانون تغني من قررت لمصلحته عن اية طريقة اخرى من
طرق الاثبات، على انه يجوز نقض هذه القرائن بالدليل العكسي ما لم يوجد نص يقضي
بغير ذلك.
وللقاضي ان يستنبط قرائن اخرى للأثبات وذلك في الاحوال التي يجوز فيها الاثبات
