Article 131 of Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials

The indictment shall be submitted to the president of the competent court. The president shall order that a hearing be fixed for consideration of the case, that the accused be served with the indictment, and that he, the other parties and all witnesses whose summons he considers necessary, whether called by the prosecutor during the preliminary investigation or called by the accused, be summoned to attend the scheduled hearing.
