English translation
If the investigation reveals to the court grounds requiring modification of the characterisation of the charge by applying an Article of the law other than the Article requested, or amendment of the charge by adding certain facts to it or changing some of its elements, or joining another accused person or other accused persons, the court may alert all parties thereto, order the prosecutor to undertake the procedures required by the amendment, and conduct all investigative procedures required by that amendment. The accused may request an adjournment of the hearing of the case to prepare his defence, and the court shall grant his request if the amendment includes new facts.

إذا تبين للمحكمة من التحقيق ما يستدعي تعديل وصف التهمة بتطبيق مادة
مــن مـواد القانون غير المادة المطلوبة، أو تعديل التهمة بزيادة بعض الوقائع إليها أو
تغيير بعض عناصرها ، أو إدخال متهم أو متهمين آخرين، فللمحكمة أن تنبه جميع
الخصوم إلى ذلك، وتأمر المدعي بالقيام بما يستدعيه التعديل من إجراءات، وتجري
جميع إجراءات التحقيق التي يستدعيها هذا التعديل.
للمتهم أن يطلب تأجيل نظر الدعوى لإعداد دفاعه، وعلى المحكمة أن تجيب طلبه
