English translation
If the convicted person dies before the expiry of the period for opposition, or before the opposition is decided, his death shall result in the lapse of the first-instance judgment and the extinguishment of the criminal action against him.

إذا توفي المحكوم عليه قبل انقضاء موعد المعارضة، أو قبل الفصل في المعارضة،
