English translation
While drawing up the inquiry report, the police officer shall record the statements made and the defence presented by the accused. If the accused's statements include a confession to committing an offence, the police officer may record it provisionally in his report, and the accused shall be referred to the investigator for questioning and verification of the validity of that confession.

يثبت رجل الشرطة اثناء تحرير محضر التحري ما يبديه المتهم من اقوال وما يتقدم
به من دفاع. وإذا كانت اقوال المتهم تتضمن اعترافا بارتكاب جريمة، فلرجل
الشرطة تدوينه مبدئيا في محضره، ويحال المتهم الى المحقق لاستجوابه والتثبت من
