If police officers arrest the accused in the preceding cases, or he is handed over to them under arrest by an individual, they must immediately hand him over to the investigator. Under no circumstances may an arrested person remain detained for more than four days in felony cases and forty-eight hours in misdemeanour cases without a written order from the investigator remanding him in custody. )2(

يجــب على رجــال الشرطــة إذا قبضــوا على المتهــم في الحالات الســابقة او ســلم إليهــم
مقبوضــا عليــه بمعرفــة أحــد الافــراد، ان يســلموه فــورا الى المحقــق. ولا يجــوز بأيــة حــال
أن يبقــى المقبــوض عليــه محجــوزا مــدة تزيــد عــن أربعــة أيــام في قضايــا الجنايــات وثمان
