The Public Prosecutor and members of the Public Prosecution authorized by him, and the Director-General of the General Department of Investigations and investigators authorized by him, may, if the interests of the investigation require preventing the accused from travelling outside the country, order that he be prohibited from travelling. Any interested person may challenge the travel-ban decision before the competent court. The court must decide the challenge expeditiously, either by rejecting it or cancelling the order. A further challenge may not be made until three months have elapsed from the date of determination of the challenge. The Public Prosecutor or the Director-General of the General Department of Investigations, as the case may be, may revoke the order according to the requirements of the investigation.
