Article 10 of Juveniles Law

Judicial probation shall be carried out by placing the juvenile in his natural environment under guidance and supervision, while he performs the duties determined by the court and proposed by the probation officer, for a period not exceeding two years. The probation officer shall implement the requirements of judicial probation in accordance with the decision of the Juvenile Court, observe the convicted person, and provide guidance to him, to the person responsible for his care, and to those responsible for his upbringing. He shall submit periodic reports to the Juvenile Court once every three months concerning the juvenile whose affairs and supervision he undertakes. If the juvenile fails probation, the matter shall be referred to the court to take such other appropriate measures prescribed in Article 5 of this Law as it deems fit.
