Article 7 of Juveniles Law

A juvenile at risk of delinquency must be placed in appropriate facilities prepared to receive the juvenile by the competent bodies at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour. The Juvenile Care Committee shall present the juvenile at risk of delinquency to the Juvenile Prosecution for referral to the court if the juvenile's interests so require. The court may order one of the following measures in respect of the juvenile: 1 - Handing the juvenile over to the person responsible for the juvenile's care; if that person is not fit to undertake the juvenile's upbringing, the juvenile shall be handed over to a trustworthy provider, with the necessary undertakings obtained in all cases. 2 - Placement in a juvenile social care institution. 3- Issuing a written warning to the person responsible for the juvenile's care to monitor the juvenile's good conduct and behaviour in the future. - Enrolment in vocational training. e - Placement in a specialised treatment hospital. The Juvenile Care Committee may take one of these measures without a court decision if it considers that the juvenile's interests so require. It may also modify it to suit the juvenile's circumstances, after obtaining the probation officer's opinion.
