Article 4 of Juveniles Law

The Juvenile Care Committee shall have competence for the following: 1- Considering the problems of juveniles at risk of delinquency and ordering their placement in appropriate care facilities. 2- Following up on their rehabilitation, employment and reintegration into society, and meeting their needs in coordination with the competent bodies. 3- Requesting the court to reconsider measures it has issued against the juvenile. 4- Issuing decisions to take the measure of handing the juvenile over to the person responsible for the juvenile's care, a trustworthy provider, a juvenile social care institution, or a specialised treatment hospital, in cases where the juvenile is at risk of delinquency, in accordance with the conditions set out in this Law.
