English translation
If the wife of a non-Muslim embraces Islam, then, if this occurs before consummation, the marriage shall be dissolved; if it occurs thereafter, the matter shall depend on the expiry of the waiting period. If he embraces Islam before its expiry, she remains his wife; otherwise, it shall become apparent that she became separated from him at the time she embraced Islam. إذا أسلمت زوجة غير المسلم فإن كان قبل الدخول انفسخ الزواج، وإن كان بعده
توقف على انقضاء العدة فإن أسلم قبل انقضائها فهي امرأته وإلا انكشف أنها
بانت منه حين إسلامها .
