Article 170 of Personal Status Law

a - If a woman observing the waiting period following a revocable divorce gives birth during her waiting period, filiation to the divorcing husband shall be established. b - If she gives birth after her waiting period has expired through the passage of time or through her acknowledgment of its expiry, filiation shall not be established unless she gives birth before six lunar months have elapsed from the date on which the waiting period is deemed to have expired. The birth shall then constitute evidence of resumption of the marriage and the continuation of the marital relationship.
