Article 171 of Personal Status Law

a- If a woman observing a waiting period following irrevocable divorce or death has not acknowledged the expiry of her waiting period, the lineage of her child shall be established if she gives birth within one year, three hundred and sixty-five days, from the date of irrevocable separation or death. b- Subject to the provisions governing acknowledgment of lineage, if she gives birth after that period, the child's lineage shall not be established. c- If she acknowledges the expiry of her waiting period within a period admitting of such expiry, lineage shall be established if she gives birth less than six lunar months from the time of her acknowledgment and less than three hundred and sixty-five days from the time of irrevocable separation or death.
