Article 172 of Personal Status Law

a- A child’s parentage from the man in an irregular marriage or intercourse under a mistaken belief of lawfulness shall be established if the child is born six lunar months or more after the date of actual intercourse. b- If the child is born after abandonment or separation, parentage shall be established only if the birth occurs before the expiry of three hundred and sixty-five days from the date of abandonment or separation.
