Article 10 of Law on the General Department of Investigations

The salaries, allowances and increments of members of the General Department of Investigations, and the minimum intervals required to remain in a grade, shall be determined by decree in a manner commensurate with their counterparts among members of the Public Prosecution to whom the provisions of Law 23 of 1990 AD on the Organisation of the Judiciary apply, with due regard to career progression in accordance with Article Two of this Law. Members of the General Department of Investigations may not be transferred or seconded to posts other than those specified in this Law. As an exception thereto, a member of the General Department of Investigations may, by a decision of the Minister of Interior, be seconded to perform the duties of another legal post.
