Article 28 of Disability Law

The Authority may request the court to replace the person entrusted with care or refer the person with a disability to one of the care homes affiliated with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour if the need arises. Home Page - 872 - Index of the Law Disability Law Law No. 8 of 2010 Concerning the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Chapter Seven Benefits and Exemptions Article 29 (1) A monthly allowance shall be paid to a person with a disability until the age of 18 years, the amount of which shall be determined by the Authority on the basis of the report of the competent technical committee according to the type and degree of disability. Its payment shall continue if the person continues university studies, until the age of twenty-six. A woman who cares for a person with a severe disability and does not work shall likewise be entitled to a monthly allowance in accordance with the conditions and controls laid down by the Authority. Payment of the monthly allowance shall cease if recovery from the disability occurs, on the basis of a certificate from the competent committee.
