Article 51 of Disability Law

The Authority shall have a Director General appointed by decree upon nomination by the President, at the grade of Undersecretary of a Ministry, from among specialists and persons experienced in the field of diagnosis or the care and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, for a term of four years renewable once for an identical term. He shall be responsible for implementing the policies laid down by the Supreme Council and the decisions adopted by the Board of Directors. The Director General shall represent the Authority before the courts and in its relations with third parties. He may have one or more deputies whose appointment shall be made by decree upon nomination by the President.
