Article 52 of Disability Law

The Authority shall have a Board of Directors constituted by a decision of the Supreme Council, chaired by the Director General and comprising the following members: 1 - A representative of each of the Ministries of Health, Education, Higher Education, and Social Affairs and Labour, the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, and the Civil Service Bureau. Each shall be nominated by the competent minister, and his grade shall not be lower than that of Assistant Undersecretary. 2 - Four representatives of public-benefit associations and clubs operating in the field of disability, selected by the boards of directors of those associations and clubs, and two persons possessing competence and experience in disability affairs, selected from outside the Authority upon nomination by the Director General, for Law Index 877 Home Page Disability Law Law No. 8 of 2010 concerning the Rights of Persons with Disabilities a term of four years, renewable once for a similar term. A nominee must have no financial interests with the Authority. The remuneration of the members of the Board of Directors shall be determined by a decision issued by the Council of Ministers. Membership of the Supreme Council and the Board of Directors may not be combined. The Board may seek the assistance of such experts and specialists as it considers appropriate to express their opinions, without their having the right to vote on decisions.
