Article 117 of Bankruptcy Law

If the bankruptcy judge issues a decision opening restructuring proceedings, the debtor shall, under the trustee’s supervision, prepare the restructuring plan. The debtor may seek the assistance of the Bankruptcy Committee in preparing the plan if the indebtedness is subject to its supervision. The debtor shall deposit the plan with the Bankruptcy Department within a period not exceeding three months from the date of the decision. The bankruptcy judge may extend this period for a similar or longer period upon the debtor’s application after hearing the Bankruptcy Committee. In all cases, the required majority must approve any extension that would cause the period for preparing and developing the restructuring plan to exceed six months. If the restructuring plan is not deposited within the time limit specified in this Article, the bankruptcy judge may, upon an application submitted to him by a creditor or the Bankruptcy Committee if the indebtedness is subject to its supervision, terminate the restructuring proceedings. The judge shall issue his decision within ten days from the date of submission of the application.
