Article 172 of Bankruptcy Law

A state of bankruptcy shall arise only by a judgment declaring bankruptcy. The Bankruptcy Administration shall, within ten days from the date of issuance of the judgment declaring bankruptcy, give notice of its operative part, publish it and disclose it on the Kuwait Stock Exchange if the debtor is listed there, and require the debtor to disclose it on its website and register it in the manner set out in Article 33 of this Law. It shall also, within ten days from the date of issuance of that judgment, publish its summary and give notice thereof. Effects of the Judgment Declaring Bankruptcy
