Article 229 of Bankruptcy Law

The trustee or the debtor may offer the creditors holding secured debts alternative security, provided that it is equivalent to the existing security. If they do not accept this offer, the Bankruptcy Court may rule to replace the security if it finds that the alternative security is not less in value than the existing security and does not prejudice the interest of the creditor to whom the alternative security is offered, and without prejudice to the privileges and effects of prior registration. In comparing the existing security, the level of marketability and the level of price volatility shall be taken into consideration.
